Does anxiety before a sport competition can be a handicap or a resource?

Some young athletes live this experience, physically and psychologically, with difficulty before the sports competition and those who have an anxious nature are more difficult than others. This phenomenon occurs especially in the minutes before the sporting event!

If for some professionals the psycho-physical tensions can express a positive reaction to the body, for athletes who do not have a particularly strong personality, anxiety can become fear or panic and compromise performance. Tachycardia, collagen, itching, gastric problems such as burning or nausea, and at one time all the talent may disappear.
